What are the different types of vinyl flooring?

Luxury vinyl flooring is available in a few different constructions. You may have heard the terms SPC, WPC, LVP, and LVT - all of those acronyms can get a little overwhelming! LVT and LVP simply refer to luxury vinyl tile and luxury vinyl plank. WPC is a vinyl plank with a foamed waterproof core that creates a thicker product that is quieter underfoot. SPC is a solid polymer core product and like it sounds, it's more of a rigid product than WPC. SPC is ideal for commercial applications but also works well in residential applications.
